The Problem

It's common for families to accumulate a large collection of food storage containers over time to store things such as leftovers and dry ingredients. However, if these containers are not kept organized and maintained properly, they can become a source of frustration in the following ways:

  • Spatial issues in both cabinets and the fridge

  • Mismatch of lids and containers results in waste of both

  • Overconsumption of Tupperware, owning more than needed

  • No unified form of products in terms of colors and shapes as they are often from different brands

Solving the problem

Food containers are a part of the bigger system of storage, activities, and lifestyle in the kitchen. In order to fix the container issue, the entire system has to be taken into consideration. Currently, there’s no accurate reflection of the measurement of cabinets and the fridge where containers will be placed full or empty. What goes inside the containers also has to be studied in order to own just the right amount of containers.
